Review:
This Skaledale East Station comes with a separate waiting
room (pictures shown above) which is not shown on the box or on
Hornby's website or catalogue, so imagine my surprise when
opening this model.
The
station and waiting room both look very realistic even down to
the pipe-work, and leaded windows. They have been made to look
rough and ready like a normal station building found at any
railway station. It is not pristine but this is what makes it
look realistic and a very good addition to a model railway.
The
station is one piece with a detached waiting room which can be
placed alongside the station. Both the building and roof has
slight weathering which adds to the realism of this model.
