Review: The Hornby Skaledale Refuse Skips are a very nice detailed piece to add to your Model Railway layout. You get two in each pack.

The Skaledale Refuse Skips are well detailed. Each skip is yellow in colour with scratch marks on the sides. Although effort has been made to make the skips look worn, the actual scratches on the side look too uniform when viewed close up. The top of the skips have been painted green to add to the worn and used look.

The rubbish within the skips are surprisingly detailed. Different items of rubbish can be clearly defined from each other. They are individually painted and appear like they were individually placed there. There is even a chair which it's legs are clearly defined from each other.

Rubbish items include: Pipes, boxes, milk churn, chairs, ladders, mops, and buckets as well as other unidentifiable rubbish.
