Re: And The Next Photo Will Have

Decision time, something that you have pondered over.

Decision. Do I make Scholarsgate Station into a terminus with a through line to Sovereign Street?

Yes!

Re: Western numbering

Hi Engineer1947. Welcome to the Forum.

I too bought the Lima 'Western Enterprise train set (many moons ago). Like SRman suggests, I bought new nameplates and numbers and now the engine is correctly numbered to the name.

Another Loco (or carriage) sharing its name with a family member doesn't appear forthcoming.
A member of our family was a Commissionaire at The Consett Iron Company.

Here is one of their tank wagons.

Re: All Change -- Well Not Quite!

Great to see the cameos bringing everything to life. I like the coal man and truck. Did they tie those loads down or hope they dont fall off? Thanks joshv8. Having lived in Yorkshire, Tyneside and North Tynedale in houses that had coal fires, seeing the coalman arrive was a regular occurrence. Like...

Re: All Change -- Well Not Quite!

It's the little cameos that make a layout interesting. Where did you get the dog walkers if you don't mind me asking? Pete (RailwayRobbo) Thanks, Pete. I am starting to put little cameos to the layout, threby justifying larger scenes. The dog walkers are from Dapol (Airfix) and China. The Chinese o...
