The Layouts section needs to be split up into defined sections, at the moment there are far too many projects competing for space, unlike NRM which has 50 slots on each page RMweb has only 25 with a much higher volume of traffic and as a result you can miss good layouts as they will be away down of...

The first lot look like screws that hold a model to a plinth. I have some when I took my models of buses of their plinths.
The smaller screws are possibly from under a model allowing access to the inside —- if a bus, passengers could be added.

If it was sold 'perfect' and the box is damaged, maybe the locomotive is also. Personally I would contact Rails and 'put it in their court'. They should ask you to return it -- at their expense, then replace it with another, or refund you the money. If they say they no longer have any more locomotiv...
