Re: Diesels at Crown Point and Sovereign St.

As well as the bird on the fence, a bird has landed on the signal. Will it fly away when a train arrives?

A train is due. It is safe to cross the road. The postman is waiting for someone to answer his knock on the door. Two dogs with him wait patiently.

Apart from that great pictures.

Thanks for your comments again, Lancastrian. Much appreciated.

As for the two metre rule? They would be out the train room window!

It must be nearly home time? A couple of ladies waiting outside Roseville School for their 'little darlings'. IMG_3590.JPG Driver John Thompson (of W.A. Glendinning, Shotley Bridge) was regularly seen in Leeds. Here he is about to talk to Foreman Tim Sullivan. IMG_3589.JPG As an aside -- At term tim...

He will lean against the wall if the landrover approaches.

Thanks for the information, hicklingmick. It is 45 years since I left Yorkshire and the memory is tending to fade a little. :( :)

All I had said was that in my train spotting days I didnt know crown point goods yards was there even though I lived very close to it. - I also did not know there was a goods yard at Crown Point. :) Baring in mind my layout is fictitious, I wanted a layout that ran trains from Earlsheaton to Sovere...

Very nice! That 0-6-0 pannier is sweet! Do you have many problems running the 0-4-0's? I've used a few in the past and found that unless the track is perfectly clean, they keep stalling. Thanks again, Memran. The 0.4.0 locomotives run very well (touch wood). In fact all my locomotives run okay; tha...
