Foxshaw Gardens Amusement Park
I had kits that needed to be assembled to add to the park, but it was beyond me to do it, so as usual enter my son.
As you can see from the above picture there is no room for anything else to be added so almost back to an empty baseboard.
THE REBUILD
Off we go again. The track isn’t being changed so there is no need to lift it.
More to follow.

Re: Foxshaw Gardens Amusement Park
There was I thinking I was the one dismantling parts of the layout and rebuilding again?
Looking forward to seeing the new scene.

Yes almost a clean slate but it will be a similar layout, having more rides and without the vintage vehicles. They have been moved to a new extension on the main layout in the form of a field to create ‘The Village Diecast Rally‘ I will post a photograph with my next update shortly.

Re: Foxshaw Gardens Amusement Park
Slowly moving on.The very first ride that I bought way back in time was the Galloping Horses, however this was not motorised. Next was the Ferris Wheel, this was motorised. I also had a go at making a Helter Skelter from a free PDF file online, not sure if this is still free or not.
This file shows the kit Chris built to motorise the Galloping Horses hopefully it is self explanatory if not please ask.
These are the kits that Chris has built for me. all motorised.
Unfortunately we couldn't get the correct motor for the Sky Wheel even though we also tried the USA where the kit originated from. Using a motor I already had Chris sorted out the gears and made the housing which needed a hole to be cut in the baseboard for the motorised unit to sit below it. More work still to be done to complete it though.
It's great that Chris has a 3D printer, I knew it would come in handy for my layouts, in fact it already has on a number of occasions.
Still more to come later.
