Re: Ninian Junction - And so it is finished, see last post.

It's a shame that you are comtemplating selling Ninian Junction. For different reasons I've had to put my layout in storage for the time being, but I vow that I will return to it. And I think that eventually you'll return to the "Junction". (I was a good 20years between layouts!!) I may no...

Re: Not a layout - but railway modelling

Ah,,it's been a fair old while since my last confession...oops wrong place.... sorry, It's been a bit of a tough year for me and my layout has been comdemned to the loft for now. they are both stunningly effective. being small they are easy to transport to the garden for that extra little bit of dep...

Re: My dads N gauge layout!

I love the little street scene it just fits so well. one thing that I would be a little worried about if I was an N gauge sized person would be getting to my N gauge horses to feed them etc, crossing those dangerous railway lines.

only joking, it look really great think your dad is going to love it.

Re: Hasford Blacklock - N-Gauge [Video - page 6]

Very nice and well done getting 2nd at the NGS.

Love the action photo with the freight train!

Lack of people on the platform, must mean that all the services are running to time (unlike the real thing) tidy little buggers aswell but then N gauge litter would really be a labour of love to create.

Re: Cramdin Yard

I'll second the congrats. I've just read (well skimmed really) through the whole tread and from Oct 07 when the first bits of track got laid to getting published in May 09, is some serious work. especially when you've done so much detail work. I have to say that some of the pictures I had to look at...

Re: Stumpy's loft.

Now you've done the detail around the arches they really do look fantastic. The time you've spent on them has been time well spent. Those platforms are going to look amazing with some "furniture" and associated cameos. My Dad used to live in Peckham Rye so it may have been Denmark Hill tha...

Re: Seep point motors v Peco point motors.

I've never used peco motors, only seep's. One thing that i would say is that they can be a pig to align on double slips, but once you've got it right they seem to be fairly reliable. wiring is pretty easy, but I did have a few problems when soldering the wiring to the terminals on the motor due to t...

Re: Lawton Road (construction ?)

I'm planning on having a canal boat of some sort along with some ducks but i'm not intending to have a lock. Those trees are just a test project, I'm not sure about the trunks and I defineatly don't like the colour. there will be a tunnel on the layout as I'm finding that I'm enjoying building scene...

Re: Stumpy's loft.

Some very nice work there, well done! for some reason the station reminds me of a real place, but for the life of me i can't remember where. I can't even recall what area I'm got in my mind, but I'm sure that I've changed trains there (well the real one i'm thinking of and not yours, I'd be a bit ta...

Re: BR/NSE N gauge layout

Whenever I'm lost for inspiration or need a little hint/tip this is one of the layouts that i search out. We used to live in a block of flats like them when i was a kid, but we lived on the non-railway side.

top quality work (as always) and thank you for sharing it with us.
