Re: Parsons Cross Junction - Garage Dwelling In OO Gauge

Well someone has been busy! :P Must say Gav, I do like your ‘new’ layout (well it is new to me ! ) Though there is a distinct lack of ‘Bareback Mountain’ or whatever it was called  Really like the way you used the helix idea and it is good to see you have produced a splendid set of contr...

Re: Millsend Layout - OO Gauge Sixties Midland

Hi Jim Just spent a very pleasant 20 mins back-reading this thread and I am compelled to compliment you on your parcels depot which is quite simply brilliant! 8) Really like the operational side of a layout that packs so much in to a relatively limited space without compromising plausibility, which ...

Re: Moorcroft (St Anthonys): Infront Cat's Garden Railway

Thanks chaps, one can only try!!! The priority now is to find a new place to live with my gorgeous missus and work out the best venue for the new project. In all truth I doubt the project will be properly underway until next autumn or so, but there's a few things/projects to get on with until then, ...

Re: Moorcroft (St Anthonys): Infront Cat's Garden Railway

And so The Wanderer Returns!!! (Which ironically was the name of this thread before I chose a station name! ) Well you chaps, there are certainly a few developments! And the first ones are not so apparently positive: Moorcroft St Anthony's is no more. In fact, I pulled up the last bit of track...

Re: Pawford 00 New Trainee engine driver saves layout

Well, there's been a few developments since our paths crossed! The Garden Railway has been dismantled (last bit today!) and the track and stock lovingly boxed away for the next adventure! I'll post the details on the old thread! Was a bit sad when I lifted the last bit of track but I'm looking forwa...

Re: Askham Railway 00 Gauge Shelf Layout 11/11 new footbridg

Excellent stuff!!! I am impressed with the use of space where there otherwise would be none! :) And I like that you're not afraid to swap things all around in the name of progress

Will you ever joint the two ends to complete the loop? :?:

Cheers

Re: Starlingford - Beer, Hattons and Shelf Queens, pg 126

Hopefully there will be a new Moorcroft in your new digs...? Are plans afoot Hmmm, too hard to say at this stage mate. At this point, I've no idea where I'm even going to be. As luck would have it, I just started a job on the c2c (Fenchurch St to Southend-on-Sea) railway so that should hopefully he...

Re: Horsted Keynes OO,

Always knew ...
