She's looking over your shoulder isn't she?

Oddly enough my Mum is more understanding than my Dad. Though perhaps she is just better at feigning interest...

What sort of locomotives will you be running on the layout?

Good luck with the layout.

I've got that J83, I thought it was a bit slow, though I suppose it was scale speed. Is the NRM Flying Scotsman loco or tender driven? I very much hope it's an improvement on their previous model...

A nice blank canvas for your layout, have you got any plans?

I like the sound of this video. Bearing in mind I have no experience with static grass it should be quite helpful. :)

If I was on the first train, I would be a bit concerned about the A4 accelerating fast behind...

It's a very good model. I've not got any Lima's (I've not come across one that I fancy) but they seem to be pretty good.

I just saw the pics of the inclines and they look really good. You've got a brilliant layout.

That was a fun thread

Anyway did you ever take it to a model shop? They could probably advise you and supply you with any spare parts required or you could just send it in for repair.

How old is the loco? If it's quite old it may just be suffering from general wear and tear.
