lofty wrote:This is a cracking article about a stunning entry.

Having read through it, I think it’s better than it looked in the ‘entry pictures’. There are certainly details I hadn’t picked up on originally.

Lofty
thanks lofty
you can understand now my dismay at only 3 pics being allowed! oh well, nothing to worry about now
i realsied though when i saw your pics that i hadn't shown the best of mine with the 3 pics i sent, i think i had got a bit frustrated and bored and what with christmas wanted to get it done and out of the way, i'm should have sent close ups instead of wider shots

Michael

Great stuff, I think there' s been a standard set by this competition that will be very hard to match. I feel very humble and frustrated with my own modelling efforts now!

Yes I totally agree with Lofty, perhaps future competitions might be a little more lenient on the number of photo's allowed as there were some shots here in the thread that were stunning.....great work Michael...

I also agree about the pictures. There was so much nice detailing that 3 pictures was never going to show it off to it's full potential. Glad you posted all this.

Great scene 8) 8) 8)

couple of questions

are the points done by hand or are they motorised?

and how does your coupling system work ? is it the good old paper clip or electic magnics etc

but either way how ever there done that is one fantastic line . you build there .

Thats Great music Michael I liked it so much I sat and listened to it over and over and over and over and .............

Thanks Michael I enjoyed doing it. Makes a big difference not having to spend ages messing about trying to find music that won't get me into trouble again with copy rights.

just saw this didn't get answered
the couplings are the standard wire type 009 things, they are what was fitted as standard to the stock.. which i can't remember what it is of the top of my head, roco or something i think
