Howe will probably be first, or I might do them together to save time.

Recently I have been working a lot on the station building. It's not completely finished but it will do for now.

Iv just watched a couple of your videos on youtube, the fitting a point motor one gave me some good ideas, such as drilling holes for points even if you dont know if you wil install point motors or not, so I think I shall do that.

I also watched the layout tour, and must say I now have an even greater appreciation of your layout, I am not quite sure how you have managed to squeeze inbetween your boards to fit the motors but you must be a gymnast or something, the detail is, as we have seen, incredible, it's such a shame that you cant exhibit the layout as I am sure everybody would love it.

Thanks mate, long arms is the secret to putting the point motors in but it is still a real pain. I have now fitted 14 point motors and still have about 5 left to do :( Today I'm hoping to get some more retaining wall fitting and weathered.

Recently I have received my airbrush and I have wanted to practise on something that didn't matter too much if it went wrong. I spotted a bachmann class 20 I’ve had for a few years which was in BR green. I decided this would do and that I would re-spray the whole thing to get some practise. The pics below show how it went, this is the first time I have ever used an airbrush.

On the whole I'm very happy with it. The only thing that went a bit wrong was the transfers. This was because I used matt varnish before they were applied, these will eventually be redone. So now I have another engine in the right period ready for service :D
