Update to the layout,

I have been busy doing a Xtrkcad plan of how the layout is at the moment, so I can ask some electrical questions later.
Now that I have made the plan, I can see a few places I can change, especially inside the two dog-bone loops. I will
make a track that will go to ether side of the layout without interfering with the main lines.

Anyway heres a pic of the layout UPDATED 2.45PM

I have now modified the track so goods trains etc can run in between the 2 loops without crossing
the main lines, trains can be made up at leisure, and brought onto the main track if and when.

here's a updated trackplan

Hi Terry mate! :)

Just had a view of your three vids and I really liked 'em! I am so glad that you reprofiled the first part of the layout: now you have installed those more gradual curves at the end, it looks so much smoother. I was wondering if you'd maybe thought about applying the same process on the other loop?

Great stuff mate. Really like the shots of the Deltic 8)

Catcha later

The loop ends on both parts of the layout are now the best radius I get in the space.

I am going to redesign the the main line around the Peterborough Station, so I have a goods
line off the main line, just the same as the Chatham Station, which is changing name to Ipswich with Ipswich Dock
