Yes it is purchased of the NRM shop it is a mixture of:
R8818 Medium Grey Blended Gravel
R8825 Coarse Beige Mixed Gravel

I homemade a light buffer stop as an experiment and here are the results. Any sugestions please!! :lol:

Nice buffer stop with light.
I like the scatter / gravel between the 2 tracks but the beige ballast in the track is too course for my liking.
There again, I haven't done any ballast yet so what do I know!

Hi,

That buffer stop looks really good, well done.

I wouldn't worry about the ballast looking a little big, as another member here (Lofty) always says, remember the "3 foot rule" as in you'll usually view your layout from 3 foot away, not with a macro lens.

It's a really good start, well done.
