Re: N gauge 90's Era
couple of updates, started working on the town, ive painted under the town area to stop any light from showing in the tunnel, just in place atm to give a feel. I used polystyrene to make a shape first, then got it cut out
anyone got suggestions for hiding the gap between the tunnel mouth and the city level?

What have you got planned for the two dead end lines?

Re: N gauge 90's Era
cheers , that line and the one on the other side are going to be main lines to a future project, an excuse to allow me to take over a room from the missus , the one under the town will be a tunnel based one, the other will be open.

Re: N gauge 90's Era
Nice, fingers crossed the planning office lets you expand.
Re: N gauge 90's Era
an unusual addition to the fleet, 5 peco modern engine sheds bought 3 new, had one in the loft and got one second hand off the net. The 2 on the left need abit of work but shouldnt be too much hassle. Was thinking of having 3 x 2 engine yards next to each other to accomodate 6 locos and the 2 on the left doubled up to cater for DMU's
Re: N gauge 90's Era
OMG... just thought that is £100 RRP on kits. *feinghts* But it will look good .

Re: N gauge 90's Era
VERY nice layout!
How good a model is that InterCity 225? Is it nice to look at and run?
I'm thinking of going N-Gauge myself and a 225 in InterCity livery is something that I must run. I already have it in OO Gauge, but that'll be useless on a N-Gauge layout

Re: N gauge 90's Era
abit of a change, im going to get everything up and re-design the track. Alot of track laying effort has gone in, but i have bitten off more than i can chew, and also i tihnk there is far too much track.
New track plan to follow later tonight

Re: N gauge 90's Era
new track plan...what do you guys think in operation wise? I intend to build an expansion layout underneath the layout via a helix in the far right, where the points seem to have no track attached. But that is a future project after i get this one done
