I will be watching this layout carefully as i am about to start on a new container depot layout.

Metro one thing, the brush weeds they look good but on the 2nd pic of the 142 they look slightly pattened and centred next time you use them maby a bit more random?

i think thats quite a good start nice plan too.

Anybody got any ideas? Its 5*3, basiclly all you have to do is build the layout any way you want has to have a station and has to have storage sidings with a turntable and 2 track mainline.

ill have a go using paint as im no goos with xtrack no size or anything included once done and plan is made then you can decide.

Yes there's loads of slate at the Blaenau end of the line. There's a museum, tour etc.

well to have all that yull need a big soace which means you need more money for track.

well do you want a loop? a shunting yard? (kinda big in that space but still )

if you want a loop 2 track mainline 1 line branch? a shunting yard in? station? country side indistrial?

give us some objectives you would like and we will build it?

if theres any mines in the festignog (not sure how to spell) railway im going in october i could get some pics if you want?

why drop the retaining wall? there easy to scratchbuild, or just buy scalescenes kit?
