Is it the Mk2 Bachmann coupling that is mostly used in the wagons NEM pocket ? the reason I am asking I changed over to kadee's and I think I have mk1 and mk2 couplings selling them with option to put back original couplings
BTW all of the wagons are Bachmann year 2007 or 2008

Re: Peterborough & Yaxley Diesel Yard New Layout oo
The loop ends on both parts of the layout are now the best radius I get in the space.
I am going to redesign the the main line around the Peterborough Station, so I have a goods
line off the main line, just the same as the Chatham Station, which is changing name to Ipswich with Ipswich Dock

Re: Some NRM Xtrkcad threads condensed into one
Still not going, got the green light but says the train is paused, I can change turnouts OK, nearly there.
got it working i was pressing the wrong button
Now its stopping on the layout, that must be because the track is not right, out of line etc ?

Re: Peterborough & Yaxley Diesel Yard New Layout oo
I have now modified the track so goods trains etc can run in between the 2 loops without crossing
the main lines, trains can be made up at leisure, and brought onto the main track if and when.
here's a updated trackplan

Re: Xtrkcad and vista
I cannot seem to make a decent image of the layout, I tried bitmap export but when you resize you seem to lose detail, the best I could come up with is print the layout A4 and scan it make a jpg and resize to 800 or is there a better way ? When you export to bitmap, a box of options comes up. One o...

Re: Peterborough & Yaxley Diesel Yard New Layout oo
Update to the layout, I have been busy doing a Xtrkcad plan of how the layout is at the moment, so I can ask some electrical questions later. Now that I have made the plan, I can see a few places I can change, especially inside the two dog-bone loops. I will make a track that will go to ether side o...
