Superb! It's always good to see houses on a hill modelled. It's one of those things that doesn't get modelled enough. I'm not familiar with the kits but the end result is great.

I've not thought any more about rotating and I've been putting off the painting the wall for ages. A few weeks ago I had a go at painting it and wasn't at all happy with the results. The speed across the straight on route can still be high - there are slips on main lines - but they would be used for accessing slow speed lines.

The paint will provide insulation and it'll only be a low voltage so even if you did get a shock it wouldn't hurt - you can get a tingling in you hand if you turn the power on when you've got your hand on the track.
