Re: The Bridge (The Y&CR) - Updates and even more updates!
Allreet ladies and gents; bit of an update for you all. Yeoveney station is largely complete with the exception of a few extra details, so here is how it looks now: http://i965.photobucket.com/albums/ae134/Durseytu/R463.jpg Fencing is now added (I decided to go for white, unlike Colnbridge Station's...

Wow that does look good. I didn't realise just how large the loop on your layout actually was. This is a great layout to allow that wonderful collection of locos a good amount of track to be put through their paces. Lovely stuff!

Re: The Escapades of a Newbie.
Oh lord we are being surrounded by em! I even work with two Chris' so they must be taking over. I'd like to see the potential designs you have. By the sounds of things you have quite a bit of space so you have plenty of options. Don't worry about flexi-track. It's actually quite easy to work...

Re: Novices together, me and my boys First Railway
Hi Craig,
I've only just caught up with this one and I must say that I am sorry to hear what happened, looking at that photo was a real shock. Still, I know it's gutting to lose any treasures that you had in the loft, but the most important thing is that no one was hurt!
All the best,
Stuart

Have you seen the price of the 10 1/4 inch version of the black 5? £39500?? You could buy a really decent car with that...

Re: East Cheltwell
Welcome back Eastern, it's good to see that East Cheltwell is still a going concern. I can picture how it looked covered in cobwebs; the Y7CR looked horrendous after nearly 4 months of innactivity! Also remember with photography a tripod is your friend, use the short timer function and use an apertu...

Re: Gav's Tr@in Set II
Ouch! Well I can sympathise with that, I think we have all been there, and yes it always would seem to happen on the last point. Still at least you have the majority done and you will be happy once it has all been glued and set, and that will be one big task out the way. Looking forward to more upda...

Re: The Bridge (The Y&CR) - Updates and even more updates!
Thanks Ben... she sure is loooovely. Anyhoo update time (again, gosh what's going on?) I've re-ballasted around the station walls, and painted the platform surface. As you can see I have yet to paint the white line and add fencing, station canopy etc. The siding is ballasted up too and I h...

Re: Green Wood Road. OO in a Shed. Video Pg 18
My word, where on earth have I been? So much has happened since I last graced this stunning layout that I don't know where to start! Simply marvellous scenic work Olly; you have a real talent for creating realism and atmosphere. If I could make a comment the pond looks great; although I think those ...

Re: Network SouthEast Welcome to Shaftesbury
Hi Darren, sorry to hear that you have lost interest with the layout; still I can sympathise as I have been there in the past with my old layout. If your skills at scenery are so good what on earth are we going to expect to see in 0 gauge? I can imagine pictures now where we struggle to determine wh...

Re: Unnamed 009 layout..Making a start - building structures...
Sounds interesting, I'm a bit of a fan of 009 layouts, particularly layouts modelling Welsh narrow gauge railways so I shall watch this one with interest!

Re: The Bridge (The Y&CR) - Updates and even more updates!
Thanks Beep55. Clearing the passenger coaches has opened up a hole wealth of freight shunting possibilities, something which I never really did before. I now have a small branch line with shunting options, main line tail chaser with three road station and a main line yard with a reversing loop to ad...
