And the especially good news is that Bachmann have a proven mechanism layout and body construction to place the centre of mass within the coupled wheelbase for stable traction. Their G5 is a jewel in this respect, and hopefully the 439 will perform likewise.
Is this the first Scottish design tank loco to get a current standard RTR OO model announcement? (I have trouble keeping up with all the activity from so many brands!)
