Twickenham MRC's award-winning O gauge layout to hold rare Saturday operating session - and you're invited!

Twickenham MRC's award-winning O gauge exhibition layout, ADDISON ROAD, is holding a rare Saturday session this Saturday, January 25th, and everyone reading this is invited to come along and 'have-a-go'

We meet in Kerswell Hall, 125, Wills Cres,; HOUNSLOW, TW3 2JF and we will be open for guests from 10am to 1.30pm

ADDISON ROAD is very big and takes a long time to set up and we only have running sessions in our clubroom every two months or so, but the new layout we're working on is much smaller and so it will be able to be set up every week if we want. It's called WEST BROMPTON and we will be displaying that as well this Saturday. All the track is laid and the wiring is nearly finished.

If you want to bring a loco along to run please be aware the ADDISON NROAD is currently analogue only, but West Brompton will be DCC friendly when it's finished. On the bright side, we can always sit a DCC loco on the layout for a posed photo opportunity.
