Learnt a few things...

Happy enough with the outcome, gotta figure out what to tackle next but I might have a little play with the trains on here just to try a few layout ideas before I commit to laying the track down.

The holes are to reduce weight, right? Think I've got enough to push cables through

Miscalculated the centre stretcher, quickly fixed before the glue set

Final product with the NCE PowerCab panel slotted in

Looks fantastic I also use 5-ply tops, last for years and many layouts.

Hi potatan,

A very clean & solid structure. As to lightening holes, those
were pin pricks !! Fine for wiring though.
