I've seen one in the flesh and it looks good to me, just wondering if there is anything to look out for?.

I haven't, but see one roughly annually on a friend's layout. It looks like it should and runs well, and there's a big choice of one 'current standard' model of the class in RTR OO. That's for the current production, first releases the gear ratio wasn't ideal.
Standard advice: have it test run at point of purchase if possible to see that it is smooth at dead slow in both directions. When you get it home, test run it forward and backwards, starting at relatively low speed with no load for a couple of hours, then run it 'some more' with the trains it is going to pull.
(All my RTR OO locos put in a minimum of ten hours running within a couple of days of purchase to flush out any 'infant mortality'. That way if it has to be returned with a fault or failure - a rare occurrence - it's definitely 'new'.)
