I see the standard Hattons cop out was presented again. This product (and they have many such items) does not work with Hornby controllers. Odd that when the Hornby kit is NMRA compliant and Hattons kit doesn't even come with clear instructions and is of dubious heritage, prior to DCC concepts providing them.

I don't know the why's and wherefores to be honest RAF96, but I thought it may be the same issue as my controller is not a widely used controller.
Luckily (for my meagre modelling budget) it wasn't. The closest sized decoders would have cost £105. :shock:
