Where to put hot iron
Soldering on the layout,where do you put down a hot iron?
Top of a Squires Soldering iron stand and a bulldog clip. Move it to where you are working. It won't quite expand to the old 2"x1" but the rest of my baseboards have 6mm ply sides.

Do not put it in the fridge. Especially next to a yoghurt pot.
