ADJUSTABLE magnetic corner clamps

Post by End2end »

I have just received these and must say I'm very impressed by them. :)

I originally bought the scalescene's (linka) magnetic corner clamps but the strong magnetic force of them snapping together would sometimes break the item I was working on.
It happened this week with a linka roof I'm working on. Snapped the blooming thing clean in half!! :x

These new corner clamps have just as good magnetic force as the scalescene's ones but being able to adjust that force is going to save me a lot of frustration.
Thanks

Also should solve the problem of where to apply the force when taking them off, reminds me off the tool setters gauge stands that had a permanent magnet which could be "switched off" to remove them from the workface.

If I had to describe the adjustable force of these poetically, I'd say it's from a wrestler's choke hold to a lover's gentle kiss.

Just make sure you don't get the wrestler and the lover the wrong way round. :D
