I found this on the net today. The first Mag-Lev train set!

Linear Liner Maglev Train Toy. Magnetic repulsion railway set (I think that should be PROpulsion lol)

With a scale speed of 500KMH :o
There's a short video further down in the page that pits it against a Tomy (?) Bullet train.
I was wondering when the technology would trickle down to the model arena.

The massive side rails are a bit of a cheat...

The Cliffhanger (well building hanger) doesn't get my vote. Nothing to drop onto when your superconductor fails!
