I purchased a magazine this weekend and one of the small articles is about the forthcoming GWR Steam Railcar from Kernow, based on the solely surviving version, number 93.
I think it is so unique that i'd like one for my layout.
It will have directional and internal lighting and a DCC ready 21 pin decoder socket.
Prices are set at £159.99 with 5 different liveries.
No. 93 in GWR Crimson Lake (Cat. No. K2301)
No. 97 in simplified GWR Chocolate and cream (Cat No. K2302)
No. 63 in GWR lined brown ( K2303)
No. 85 in GWR Lined Crimson Lake (Cat No. K2304)
No. 61 in GWR fully lined chocolate and cream (Cat No. K2305)
Before seeing the released models, I'm leaning towards the No.61.
Does anyone have an older version of this model? I'm not even sure if it has even been attempted in the past.
Thanks

Did you pre-order one?
I wanted the as preserved model.
I did in 2020 at £149.99 but now they are asking for a payment of £179.99 before the end of 2022.

I completely forgot about this model. But no, I didn't pre-order it.

Re: Kernow's forthcoming GWR Steam Railmotor
I placed my order in 2014 for the model, no money was taken, but after 8 years I didn't expect it to still be at the same price. Hornby and Bachmann's prices have also risen over this time, as have a lot of other things.
I was recently advised on the forthcoming of the model and of the increased price, with the option of not to proceed with my order.
I changed my order for the sound model which I am looking forward to receiving at long last.
Fortunately, being a pensioner, I can pay for it with the increased Winter Fuel Payment from the DWP.

Gauge is not spelt guage. Remember to put another "m" in remeber. Manufacturers has two "r"s in.
When you buy something, you have bought it, not brought it.
Before you post, are you really LOL and do you NEED to tell us?
