Decoder provision updated July 2016

I've de-stickied the last listing of Bachmann decoder fitments
and am replacing with a more upto date version.
Here you should be able to find what type of decoder IF ANY will fit
models up to and including the 2012 - 13 catalogue.

Information to be linked in soon - I hope ? rather than me having to re-type the lot.

That's a really good list, I'm just glad the Bachmann "Lanky Tanks" are DCC Ready, now I just need to wait for SWD to make the sound decoder for it and the "Dukedogs" so I can convert from DC to DCC Sound for: 5513, 10695, & 9017 .

All other Bachmann 'stickies' have been deleted as they could be
thought of as 'Time Expired'.
This thread has historic information that may continue to have a value
to those buying secondhand and wishing to convert to DCC

The problem with Bachmann's list is that they refer only to 'current models'. There's a significant number of their diesels that were in production 'DCC ready' when an 8 pin socket was all they offered. Applies to my certain knowledge to earlier versions of classes 20, 24, 25, 55, 66, and very likely others. Worth a note to that effect?

Also the Diesel Multiple Units, classes 105, 108, should all be shown as 8pin+8pin, uniform with the class 105 power twin. Same basic chassis in all of them. Might apply to the class 101 too, but not had one to decoder fit.
