Bristol specials

Post by bristolmidland »

HI all

A few pics from a busy weekend in Bristol and a couple from three weeks ago. Torbay Express and The Royal Duchy from last Sunday 6th of August 2012 and 70000 Britannia on the return Torbay express on the 22nd of July. 70013 pullimg the Royal Duchy was slowing for a signal check at Bedminster (Bristol) station, much to all our annoyance, while 71000 the DOG himself powers out of Temple meads ,at the same location, only 30 minutes later.

Britannia was climbing towards Backwell in early evening sunshine, very rare this year, with seemingly no effort at all.

All benefits of living in this area which we presume will end when the wires go up.

Regards Steve

It appears that you at least had fine weather. I went to Aller Junction and it was raining, intermittently 'pimply sissing it down' , the heavens opened, yet on returning to home ,near Churston the roads were DRY. And thankfully a relief to the customers on the 'Torbay Xpress' to see Kingswear/Dartmouth. Beeman.
You wo'nt find you 'CAN' unless you 'TRY'.
