OO/HO trucks and supermarket stuff

Post by seasprite »

Found this site. http://www.supermarketmodels.co.uk/index.html They specialise mainly in 1:87 trucks, but also seem to have a good range in 20ft and 40ft containers plus decal sheets for supermarket trucks. Also some interesting accessory stuff that may be handy around a loco depot.

is it just me or do some of the parts look like cheap, unpainted plastic? and yet still at the price you would expect die cast models to be sold at? Although they do look quite nice.

Now getting ideas for a future diorama!

Had a flyer of that in my Hornby Magazine today.I'm not a truck collector, but I think I'll take em up on an Emma Jade Volvo.
Their wide London RT was a nice enough model,as were both the 1/43 scale Aston & E-Type models.
This'll would've gone nicely with my scale Jack Richards lorry from Corgi, except that's 1/64
Been to his Fakenham yard several times,as our coaches are dropped & fetched from his yard where they do some of the tests/recalibrations of tacographs etc.In fact,Old Jack lives near our depot in the town.........
But £2.99 for a scale model ain't bad, even if I still get junk mail having ticked the boxes

Funny thing is I wasn't going to bother after a while, because it was advertised ages ago & I just thought the offer had finished.
Obviously Atlas must've got too many sent to them

Thanks for the Pointer guys I just ordered the Stobart truck and looked at the Supermarket site. Do people really pay 70 or 80 quid for a Lorry?
Have a good day.
