That looks just like mosquito netting to me. I got a roll in Turkey last year 'cos I thought it looked useful. You may get some from hardwear stores possibly. Depending on how much you need I can probably spare you some off my roll. PM me if you want some. You could always try a material called "organza" (check spelling) it is a fine mesh used for dressmaking/theatre costumes, It works really well and can be sprayed a suitable colour. Hope this helps.

That looks like car repair mesh, used for patching holes in bodywork with body filler.

Hi Bob,

Not sure about N gauge but the guys in the U.S. use tulle for HO gauge it may be available finer though from a bridal wear shop ........ otherwise two etched sets of N scale fencing are .........

Gold Medal Models
http://www.nscalesupply.com/GMM/Gmm-Details.html
I have the top set 160 - 1 which has 4 109 mm / 4 1/4 inches sections 14mm high

Micro structures security fence which contains two 177mm ( 7 inches ) 12mm high sections
http://www.nscalesupply.com/MIL/MIL-N-985.html

Link to the microstructures on ebay where i bought mine the guy could be able to get in stock the Gold medals.

Both are very good products to go on my layout :D

You could try 4D Model shop (search 'mesh'). You can by small sheets for a few ££ if you don't need a lot.

The roll pictured a few posts up this page I think is quite large and costs around £18.00 (on the Gaugemaster site).

Faller make industrial mesh fencing. Gaugemaster sell it on their website but you may get it more cheaply elsewhere :)

Just for future reference if needed. Fly screen mesh is usually about 1.5 X 1.3 mm square as far as the holes are concerned. Roughly 4/12".
