If anyone is thinking of going to the great Dorset Steam Fair this weekend, the Hornby tent has some real bargains while they last. K1 with 3 open wagons GBP 60, J50 GBP 40, Thomas GBP 20, Roadshow wagons GBP 2, Thomas train sets GBP 25 and various other Thomas bits very cheap. i also saw a few other locos, reduced but not to the same extent which I recall included including Schools, Kings and a B17. Some other stuff sold out during the day, so if you're going best get into the tent early :) .

Some good deals at Model Railways Direct. Hornby streamline Coronation for under £100 for example.

Not sure if this'll be everywhere, but Asda, in Trafford park, have basic Hornby train-sets for £25

HR pug loco, 2 wagons and a small oval of track with 3rd radius curves

Controller looks really basic

Think they might be unsold black Friday stock, saw them for £60 a few months ago, I considered getting one as its £25! but I don't think I'd have any practical use for it

I searched for a good 2 hours the other night to find the cheapest Peco ST-240 and 241 points.
This was the cheapest seller by far at only £9.45 each. Everywhere else was over £12 upto over £15 each.

Just had the Rails newsletter drop in my inbox.
Loads of Hornby at up to 50% off.
I quickly deleted it when I saw the K1 was reduced from £150 to £90.
I shall not be tempted, no I won't.

Looks really neat, pulls as though it has ambitions for an 8F rating, Hornby made a lovely job of it... :D
