I have some buildings kits unstarted, but don't yet know how much I'll want to chop them about to fit layout needs.

So I'm going to ask if this would be an acceptable project:
bringing to life a loco damaged (and then some) in a fire several years ago.

Either The Six Million Dollar Loco: "we can rebuild, we have the technology."
Or "Dr Frankenstein discovers trains."

I would say it's acceptable purely on the basis of me wanting to see this rising literally from the ashes.

I am happy to count it as it looks like there will be a fair bit of scratch building to restore it & am also keen to see how you get on!

There's "well underway" and there's "well, underway."

I await a choice of lace bobbins. Which I might not then use.

No hard and fast rules (i was going to wait until the 1st) so feel free to start whenever - the point is to encourage people to model and have fun so there is no point being harsh on the rules

apart from the end date

i have been itching to get on with it as well

I'd like to take part after totally missing the end date to vote!

I'd like to use my Wills timber/coal yard kit if possible?

Impressive - I think it points to a great group of members at the moment.
16 involved ? I can hardly believe it. There will be fallers, but I think we'll have
a record number at the finish.

Thanks Alex3410 for getting this rolling.
