Evening all,

The concrete pillars are now a bit more like concrete colour and I've put the start of the horizontal pieces in. I've also decided to put some LEDs in there to give a bit of atmosphere. The conveyor is next to be built but after much deliberation I've decided not to go for a moving one. I think it will be too difficult.

I've bought some white LEDs to use as uplighting on the rock faces. But I need to make some housings t fit them in first (like those used to light up castles).

I tried the LEDs for buildings, to light them up, but not very good. I found these are spot on.

umm, should of asked first. I've now bought 5x3mm ultra bright LED's at best part of £8... doh

Little bit of an update.

I've put some fencing in, started my first scratch built building and am in the throws of fitting a tunnel portal.

Here are a few pics:

Substation (set in plaster), I used Bachman security fencing around it.

Again, I've set this in plaster, so it looks like it's built in the ground and not just sat on it. I've also put a bit of framing inside, so when people look inside there is something to see.

I've also put the LED uplighter/flood lights in the rock face. They are a little too subtle... You were right Mr Levin.

what type of scenery picture roll is that?
im toying with the idea of taking my own pics and using photo paper but they look very good indeed.

I bought it off Ebay and is very good quality. I've set mine too low though and 1/2 of it is now hidden behind hills so I need to buy another myself.
