Just been looking through Rails and TMC's websites, has the bottom fallen out of the 'pre owned' market?

There's Bachmann Class 70s, DCC fitted like new with accessory pack for just over £149. Not so long ago, Class 70s under £180 were hard to find. A couple of Bachmann Class 25/3s, DCC ready, like new, DCC ready £79 and £89. Clearly Bachmann's new releases are affecting the price of these. A Dapol Class 68, DCC ready, like new £109!

Must admit, tempted by a Class 25 in two tone green :o

Hattons consistently ran large reductions on their s/h prices from late August through September; the reason isn't hard to recognise, loads of folks have spent heavily while on holiday, and the credit card bills arriving as a result are 'painful': and the belt has to be pulled in. Reducing the prices in a range typically from 10 to 30% presumably attacted enough purchases to help maintain cashflow. I bought near half of all my s/h from Hattons during this reliably reoccurring 'prices slashed' period.

4 kit built ( possibly Ian kirk) LNER suburban coaches for £5 each..
They have been fitted with Hornby Gresley bogies, which will require a little attention, but the builder has done an excellent job on the teak finish.

Just nipped down to town and while there, nipped into the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway shop and came away with these...
