For clarity it's a Loch 4-4-0. (Sonic via Rails have an NBR Glen 4-4-0 announced.)
So Scottish 4-4-0's are the new big thing, next thing you know we won't be able to move for Dunalastairs.

Oops. I blame the excitement of a new Scottish loco. Honest!

I feel you are entitled to a little excitement, it's been a long wait for current standard models from the Scottish design school, and at last some real progress is evident. I have a J36 and will add a Sonic/Rails D34, to wave the flag for classes that ended up in the LNER group, even though my area of interest is KX inner suburban. Attractiveness is sufficient, and that's something Scottish classes had in abundance.Morayshire wrote: ↑Tue Sep 09, 2025 2:06 pm Oops. I blame the excitement of a new Scottish loco. Honest!
