Twickenham & District MRC has attracted 15 new members this year!

Twickenham & District MRC has been very successful in attracting new members in 2025 - fifteen so far and more expected soon!

We have done this by going out into the community and selling our hobby to a wider audience than would come to one of our Open Days.

All those new members are beginners and four of them are part of our new 'family membership' scheme whereby a parent joins and brings along a child under sixteen. So, we have attracted eleven adult members and four young 'members' ranging from eight to thirteen.



We have two projects dedicated to teaching beginners how to build better layouts

Here are a couple of photos of one of our skill-learning projects which we started last year.

Track laying is nearly finished now .....



We have members in Twickenham, Hounslow, Ealing, Isleworth, Richmond, Sunbury, Woking, Barnes, Hampton, Staines and even Chicago, but we don't see him very often. So, if you live in any of those places and you want gto learn the basic skills of layout building, why not come and join us?
