'Where's The Finance' indeed.

I think Hornby have now proven that there's sufficient demand for Hornby-Dublo style of presentation of 'big engines' with metal bodies in modest batch sizes, to keep going on this project. I would expect most of the wide firebox prototypes in their range to get this treatment in time. (They'll need to put a big motor in the P2!) Let's face it, Hornby are still digging their way out of the financial mire, so high price pieces for collectors based on research that is 'in the bank' is a good strategy for them.

I see the problem..... When I posted that the price was £39999.99, not what it is now.

Ah, welcome to 2121... In other news: latest models of the Gresley GNR A1 pacific announced in 2098, still waiting for a container to be shipped to the UK; proposed class 120 DMU will not proceed, measurement team on site with the newly completed replica Bulleid Leader.

Sadly 'scalpers' and price gougers inhabit EBay and many will chance their arm to get the highest price they can.

A warning to ebay buyers. We have a seller (price gouger) who calls himself Gostude. Watch out for excruciating prices.

@Peterm. Gostude's been at it for years with his WAAAY overpriced goods..
I think he also has another account there.
Some dodgy or overpriced sellers do.
I was looking at an item yesterday. The two cheapest were the same seller under different accounts but same address.
They think we won't take the time to do a little investigation.
Thanks

Mr G is resident somewhere close to me if traceroute can be believed, but then I'm far to honest (easily traced) to pass that information to the spam mongers.

This one looked like a genuine mistake if you look at his other items and he has corrected it now.

Most definitely Tom.
I did see his other set for £9.99.
Spelling and numerical mistakes can often lead to some humorous outcomes. :D
