"Where is everyone?" Guard Klewless wondered. Then he turned round and hoped to god Miss Marple isn't in town too.

Very subtle Richard.
Doing nothing and surfing the net I spent some time looking at Modelu's web site.
I doubt that you'd be surprised that I've parted with some money !! Not a lot.
With winter coming back it seemed a good idea to have some painting that I
can do sitting at the kitchen table, by a radiator.

This one wasn't actually Modelu, but I keep an eye their site for 70s/early 80s P-way and S&T staff in 'waistcoat' HV vests (often worn as a belt, if not left hanging off a shovel or something). Also an ex steam driver in diesel mode (i.e. at least three overcoats and a scalf -even in summer). He would have to be called Harry as per prototype ;-)

Life in general and an extremely large portion of procrastination has got in the way. Finalising a revamp of the train room so there is a chink of light at the end of the tunnel.
Once upon a time I built a model railway in the loft. Now I dabble on much smaller baseboards.
