It's a little monsters day out!!
I have been looking at your layout Lachute and wonder if this is possible? Adding sidings for more operating interest.
Does anyone know if this could work?

Thanks

Hello End2end,
thanks for your idea. It works very well. But I don't have enough room on my little baseboard.

Ahh OK. Just a thought.
What about sidings on just one side? Would that work?
Thanks

You're welcome. As you know I'm a big fan of roundy round layout: The Radius Island Railway

This layout is now dismantled because it was a bit boring. I am working on a new project. See you soon !

If you were to add a scenic break right down the middle (vertically on your plan) you could have 2 completely different scenes!
2 stations perhaps or a station on one side and docks on the other?
I like this plan much better than the last.
I'd still be tempted to add a siding or 2 even if just for a short loco or a wagon or 2.
Thanks

Can I point something out here please?
The points are Peco, these are 2nd radius so do they line up correctly with the Hornby R605 curves which are 1st radius?

Adding scenery and a backscene puts a different perspective to things.
