What software are you using for the planning?

That plan looks like a lot of fun to me. The basics of it are not that dissimilar to Little Weldon which I am really enjoying.
Thanks, I'm hoping to at least have the boards sorted before Christmas for sone festive running.

I've been having a think and decided I'd add in a 009 tramway, a private-ish line running from the colliery, around the rocks and past the entrance where standard gauge locos come in and then past a siding where coal wagons can be reversed into a gas works siding, then continue on past the station (possible narrow gauge platform perhaps?) Then back through a tunnel to the mine, as on my original layout there was a sort of tunnel that went through the hill as on this plan,I'm just utilising it.
I mean I say tramway, I'll probably run whatever I want/can afford. I'd always wanted to do this on my original childhood layout, have a 009 section, but a friend I gave an N gauge general purpose tank to in order to create a 009 loco for me in a trade for some warhammer 40k figures basically did nothing and just stole and wrecked or sold on the tank engine, so I'd like to squeeze it on, and that'd just add to what I can operate.

The benefit of having time to contemplate my designs means I can try and produce something that I can be happy with. I kept feeling like the layouts I had designed would be fairly cramped so I had a go at designing something a little less packed. I'm not saying that I'd definitely opt for this but its something I could do, or work elements of into something else.
