That's only about £2m - not much more than a much more modest property in London. I know you would have to give up the solid traffic, pollution, and noise if you bought it - but it seems a bit of a bargain really.

True, but you'd need to put up with people using too many Z's, and not enough U's.
Also, for some reason, the incessant ding-ding of US locomotive bells really irratates me.

they do to us that live here with then too! but at least they only do that where people are around, and the loco is going slow, when they are moving out of towns they use the horn when approaching a crossing, but you hear the diesel engine a long time before they do that!NakatsuHime wrote:
