PNP
I have missed this due to family visits and that four letter word...
This just looks great, I cant wait to see it finished.
IPA I have to agree is a great track cleaner, applied to the track via a wagon, it means I don't have to break my delicate catenaries

That's looking really really good. Makes me have re-think about what I'll be doing on 3rd board.
Re: My (N gauge) table football layout!
This looks really promising PNP. Please post more photos as you progress. I just love seeing someone improve a layout. Great stuff.
Re: My (N gauge) table football layout!
That's really nice work PNP, I suppose the gaps will be grass/rock/gorse type stuff?
Looking forward to the next update

The new area reminds me of some of the mountainous German layouts, I like it You forget sometimes just how small this is. The entrance to the sector plate is nicely disguised now. I wondered what you was going to do for that.

Many thanks for comments .
Here are some more shots now the area is a bit greener - the faint hint of white behind some of the foliage is PVA still drying

And a more general view showing the fiddle yard:

Re: My (N gauge) table football layout!
Spent an enjoyable few hours this afternoon building the large signal box from the Metcalfe kit (the small box has been in place in Pichington Junction for some time now).
For those that don't know how good Metcalfe kits are, this one contains laser-cut pieces, and a jig, for assembling the stairs (btw that's a 50p as I couldn't find a 20p!):

I placed a man inside (against a white background so you have some chance of seeing him!) but there didn't seem any point in attempting any other interior details:

The completed model with the stairs installed:

Finally I attached the Cookiemede sign and placed in approximate position on the layout:

Re: My (N gauge) table football layout!
This is a very good demonstration of the quality and virtue of Metcalfe kits to my mind - when built this well. If you are looking for a generic building it's great. Scratch building this particular configuration would be tough in my experience. Although some might draw satisfaction from achieving perhaps a slightly sagging and less detailed scratch built version from recycled material, the results wouldn't justify the sense of pride in my experience.
It looks excellent - thanks for sharing.
