This photo was taken on New Years Day at a town called Kyogle, New South Wales. The XPT as we call it, is a modified HST and runs from Sydney to Melbourne and Brisbane. Sadly these units have never achieved their full potential as the nature of our trackwork limits the speed they can run at. I was lucky to get a wave from the driver.
