yep. thats deffo the right class. Seemed they limped on till the late 40's so i'm guessing thats about the period of my photo judging by the unkept condition

These images are fascinating. I love looking at historical photos like these. That LNER Garrett is a most unusual locomotive: I wouldn't mind owning a model of that.
