Portesham Station - modelling

Post by Abbotsburybranchman »

This is a photo of Portesham Station on the now disused Abbotsbury Branch Line in Dorset. I took this in the 1960's after the building had been converted to a private dwelling. I intend to model a couple of other stations from the same line that have an almost identical appearance. I would like to use a textured plasticard that mimics the Random Ashlar Stone that was use to build these but I cant seem to find one. Scalescenes TX46 is a pretty good resemblance but is just a printed rendition and I would really like a textured version.

Any suggestions please ?

Might be an idea to consider making your own.

The Right Track DVD "Building Buildings" by Geoff Thomas will show you how.
