Re: NSE making a start
Excellent stuff mate. Great attention to detail, its little things like the lads pushing the van that make this such a great layout.
Also, I think that fencing looks very good !

Re: NSE making a start
The scene with those guys pshing the BR van is great, dont they have any jump leads handy ?
In fact, that would be another great idea, something like the **Classix Triumph Herald** (**its bonnet opens up) recieving a jump start from a similar vehicle, use a black wire & a red wire as jump leads.
Dave.

Cheer's many thanks, the van scene was only just an experiment but I now think it will remain a scene for ShaftesburyDrStroganoff wrote:Excellent stuff mate. Great attention to detail, its little things like the lads pushing the van that make this such a great layout.

Those men are "jacks of all trades" , despite the closure of most of the UK's coal mines, they're willing & able to put their hands to anything !NSE DAZ wrote:they are indeed coal miners, but I am afraid they soon will be BR workers!!!!!

Re: NSE making a start
The only problem with them Dave is none of them hold driving licences hence why they are pushing the van, apart from that they are cracking workers
Thanks Darren NSE DAZ

Hi all,
Just a little picture update not to interesting but thought I would share.
I have been painting the rails rusty and thought I would share the pictures with you as I think it makes a big difference to the scene.
I still need to add the third rail to this section and this is next on my hit list
A couple of shots of the BR depot they are close up shots as this section is not completed yet
Thats it for now more soon many thanks Darren NSE DAZ

Re: NSE making a start
Hi all,
Just a little picture update, nothing to fancy
Here is a couple of shots of the section that I am working on, still lots to do the BR yard is empty at the moment no third rail, track work needs to be weathered, weeds and infrastructure still needs adding. so not much left
And a shot of the over road bridge (more to follow on this)
Well that's it for now,
All the best Darren NSE DAZ
