Re: Parky's Way - 009
Thank you for your comment. :) I am (hopefully) starting to refine what I'm doing now and going back over what I've done as and when money allows. That reminds me, I have a Tardis I need to "plant"! Here are a couple of shots of the scenic side of the layout: https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbc...

Re: Parky's Way - 009
I think you've done a great job there. The layout admittedly is simple, and idiosyncratic, but I found it much more interesting than some of the stock GWR terminus layouts. If this were at an exhibition I would probably spend more time looking at this than at the other layouts put together. Carry o...

Re: Parky's Way - 009
It appears I've neglected my thread for a while! Anyway Christmas came, I got a rather nice peco open wagon and lined out more locos. I've also had plenty of time to "play trains". https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfl1/v/t1.0-9/10259882_922471991134614_7471088087475346295_n.jpg...

Re: Parky's Way - 009
Thank you. I could probably do with some more railway clutter around the shed and perhaps some rails left by the side of the track to make it appear a tad more run down.

Is that Thunderbird 2 I see on one of your pictures? :D It is indeed, the proper TB2 and not the ITV reincarnation ;) I finally got some time to sit down and just run trains the other day and so took that oppertunity! https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/v/t1.0-9/q86/s720x720/12227041_...

Re: Hornby Railroad R3086 "Flying Scotsman"
Could this be down to the fact there have been two railroad Flying Scotsman's? I remember reading a couple of years ago that the tools for the first incarnation of the railroad Scotsman (when the railroad range was introduced) were no longer usable and the model was retooled. The tools themselves by...

Re: Parky's Way - 009
This post will bring the layout progress right up to date. Shortly after completing the railcar I had a go at building a kit. I chose the ex corris brakevan and painted her up in my railways livery. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/905/Dfbvna.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768...

I second this, your layout is simply stunning!Dad-1 wrote:We have quite a few good 'N' layouts, too few in '00', at least this one makes up

Re: Parky's Way - 009 (The Railcar)
As some may recall I had a Bo-Bo Diesel I wasn't completely happy with as it was too long, too tall and too wide to really fit in realistically with the rest of the layout. After seeing the 'Buccabary' railcar online and with help and reference photos from the creator himself I decided to have a go....
