Re: N-gauge loco specs, Hall, Grange & Manor

I know it won't help you now but here is 25 secs of my Grange running tonight. It pulls 5 coaches with ease - all my country platforms will manage.

Re: Trouvé - not that far from Perdu!

Starting from here to speak plainly is probably my best bet - whatever it costs me. I have always thought that you have the very best ideas, the very best style, and easily the very best imagination on the entire forum. I really do get what your ideas are about. But I have also thought how much bett...

Re: Peco Collett

Update. Hattons didn't contact me today so I rang them. Apparently Dapol were going to start making this loco but they have backed out - no new ones will be produced after all. Hattons will remove the Pre-order offer, cancel all the customer pre-orders, and email affected customers. So PNP remains ...

Re: Trouvé - not that far from Perdu!

Last point. The issue about painting rails was about the WHAT rather than the HOW. I think that WHAT people do with their layouts is their decision - but the HOW can sometimes be improved and some folk don't ask.

End of point from me.

Over to Notroh's layout and thread without interference.

Re: Trouvé - not that far from Perdu!

On the other hand some people make nice buildings and are happy with piss poor trackwork. Should I take any personal inference from this CHIEF ? Parkend's track work before painting presented below for anyone to magnify and examine piece by piece, and joint by joint. All improvement suggestions gre...

The wide range of building materials and methods is interesting. Have you thought of settling on one core method and adopting it as "your" system of choice - so as to perfect that method? ParkeNd Not yet...still too much to experiment with :) Peter I thought that might be your stance Pete...

Hi E2E. I am told that hard drive failure on laptops especially is more a case of "when" than "if" so why not take the opportunity now to plan for your next drive failure. A LaCie USB driven portable hard drive complete with its own backup software and configurable to Windows or ...

Re: Peco Collett

I suspect its a mistake on the eHattons website? The other liveried versions are not shown and I cannot find any mention of resuming production anywhere . . . :?: A fair point. I will phone Hattons this morning and ask them. More later. Update info. It's Sunday so resource at Hattons is of a skelet...
