Re: Which Hornby controller

Gaugemaster allday.Would really like the Q model but at close on £200 thats a big save up time for me having just been made redundant.Have the D model and find it faultless.

Re: Trackshack

Sorry to see this outlet go.used it very often for Peco flexi track since Hattons started using DPD I think it is,nothing but returns thru to damage.TrackShack used proper sturdy tubes for your long lengths of track.
Another victim to Covid sadly.

Re: Peco 3-Way Point

Sorry Flashbang. That is what I was referring to.If I supply power to the two outer stock rails the centre rail is powered also, not creating a short anywhere?Would I need insulating joiners anywhere?
I read somewhere it was not possible to wire this point in this manner?

Peco 3-Way Point

Hi all.Question for all you Guy's that are better with electrics than me.I have a Peco 3-way Insulfrog point. If I was to wire across the 2 curves of the point, would this create a short circuit anywhere?
Thanks in advance.
Dave.

Re: Dapol Wagons

Hello,I also have a large number of Dapol wagons to all of which I have added extra weight.Being in the Motor Trade I have access to alloy wheel balance weights which I personally find ideal. For instance,a box van would get an extra 10 grams added to it,5 grams either end, larger wagons 25-30 grams d...

BACHMANN 31-127 30xx 2-8-0 ROD

Hello all.Has anyone had any experience wether good or bad on this model? My daughter is wanting one to be personalised for her and Hattons are knocking them out at £69 at present. It's going to cost nearly as much to personalise so thought I'd ask the question.
Thanks.
