Some of those harburn buildings can look really quite good I think. But also some look quite clunky to.
That being said that small hut on your layout looks just right, so bit of a good find there squire...

Laid the track out on the baseboard stage 1 this evening. Not powered yet though.

And again to show where the raised section is going to separate the board and cover the loops.

PNP, had the start of the track delivered yesterday so tonight I'll be measuring up the layout for clearances and everything else so expect to see a track plan of sorts within the next couple of days.. Going to start with a twin dog bone to get going then go from there once I get used to it all. Goo...

Point rodding is looking good Jim. Suitably dirty I like the small touches like the speed restriction etches.

The natural light makes the colours look so much better don't you think. Give it a scale background and it would look quite realistic.
