By 'era and prototype' I meant...GWR, German DB, modern EWS sorta thing, rather than railways, military tanks and boats.

I think we should keep to a railway theme, so you can still do your plan Owen 'cos it's got a railway line through it. :)

It hasn't now though :? I've finished the base and all. The only Railway theme that might appear would be a Railway poster on a wall.

Nevermind, I was intending to enter this project that I'm working on at the mo 'coz It's just there, and it is smaller than A4.

George

Are entries secret until the closing date, or do you want progress shots?

Good point!

Secret...and then if people could PM me with their pics, I will download them, then reupload onto my Photobucket...I don't really want them emailed to me cos they tend to be massive pics and my email's veeeeery slow.

Thanks.

The theme this time is a small diorama up to the size of a sheet of A4 paper...it can be any scale, and era or prototype and any part of the railway - an embankment, a fuelling station etc, so long as you can place the finished model on a sheet of A4.

The competition will run until September 1st, 2007, so you've got quite a bit of time to work on it.

Get modelling!
Just a thought George, but shouldn't it be A5 for the 'N' guage folk?..... :P

waiting for some smart arse to post a pic of an A4 lump of wood.. claiming it as a 1:1 representation of somewhere...

or of course a drawing of a railway as the colours on an actual A4...

I have now got to the 90% finished point

I just need to let the glue dry overnight, then do a bit of ‘tarting’ up tomorrow, and post my effort off to the Competition Master

Well done Lofty :!:

I checked last night and I think my plan will work... I'm not sure if that's good or bad as I'm still not sure if I'll have the time to build it.
